Sir Christopher Codrington, Bt - Chairman

The Chief Executive Officer of Navarino Services, a Global Distribution Systems and Web Reservations Management Company. He has considerable commercial experience of fundraising, having taken part in a successful campaign to raise 1m US dollars for Codrington College, a theology college in Barbados. He has also participated in fundraising initiatives for a number of start-up businesses in the UK and USA. Christopher has lived in the parish for 9 years. He has been active in the community events - incluiding being a major draw as Father Christmas in the Christmas Fayre in the church.

Rev Dr Brian Ford OBE - Project Director

An Associate Priest, Brian has led the activity that achieved the faculty for re-ordering. He is the Founding Director of the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) Ltd, Oxford, a professorial member of the Mathematical Devision, Oxford Univercity and an experienced fund raiser.

Dr Jeanette Cayley - Cecretary

A retired doctor and former editor of a medical journal, Jeanette was previously active in the preservation of architecture and open spaces, and the foundation of the Brent River Park, in west London. She directed the Leafield Arts Festival and is currently publicity officer for the Friends of Wychwood.

Mr Peter Durrant - Cleak of Works

An Experienced engineer, Peter was an air safty regulator with the Civial Avation Authority. He retired as a senior principal surveyor and technical assistant to the chief surveyor. Peter has lived in Leafield for 14 years and ran the Leafield Neighbourhood Watch for eight years.

Mr Simon Salome-Bentley - Treasurer

Simon ran his own retail buisness in the past and now works in the Bodleian Library in Oxford. He has has an actice involvement with the parochial church council through much of his 20 years in Leafield, including 6 years as churchwarden, and has been involved in Project St Michael from its conception.

Mrs Ann Arkell - Churchwarden

Ann has had experience of fundraising and event organising, on behalf of the church and village hall, over a period of 20 years. The Christmas Fayres 2005-2008, held in the church, have been a particular sucess. Ann was on the committee that built the village hall and was its chairman for 7 years. She is currentley a churchwarden at St Michael's.

Mrs Nicola Salome-Bentley - Churchwarden

Nicky is a specialist nurse. While Chairman of Leafield School Governors, nicky organized the fundraising for a new school playground. She has raised funds for the church, and for local and national charities, completing the london Marathon twice. She is curentley a churchwarden at St Michael's.

Mrs Jane Digby - Village Liasion

Jane works as an NHS physitherapist. She was a parish councillor for 7 years and is now chairman of the village hall committe. She helped to fundraise for the play area for the village Jane runs Leafield Guides, works with young prople in the church and sings in the benefice choir.

Rev Paul Mansel - Vicar

Before training for ministry Paul worked as a senior manager within a research and development company based in London. As the recently appointed vicar of St Michael’s Church, Leafield, part of the Forest Edge Benefice, Paul has pastoral oversight within the team which he shares with his clergy colleagues. Paul is married to Jane and they have three children.
